Colleges return, to crowded classrooms, mask and vaccine mandates — and delta 

Higher education was planning for a more normal year, with relaxed COVID-19 restrictions and in-person classes. Now, with the surge of the delta variant, in-person classes will depend on how well colleges and universities contain it through vaccine and masking mandates.
